Mike Mendoza

Mike Mendoza was born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington August 6th, 1972. Started playing guitar since a baby and by the age of 9 he had learned his first songs. His father, Raul, taught him his first chords and some leads. Then Mike started playing by ear on his own. He would always play with his Uncle Steve Mendoza. Steve showed him how to play alot of Rock and Roll. Mike would always practice everyday at home, listening to tapes and records and listening to the radio..Even learned some stuff from MTV. His favorite groups were Judas Priest, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Motely Crue, Ratt, Skid Row, and mostly all the oldies like The Beatles. He always would learn the new stuff, whatever was in style.

Then moved to Olympia, Washington. His dad decided to start a band with his son's and his Uncle Jesse. Jessie came from Texas and they started a band called "SHOWDOWN". They played everywhere. They played for about 7 or 8 years off and on. Then Mike moved back to Walla Walla to take a couple of years off. Then decided to start up again. Now Mike, Sam, and Jay have a band together called "FEEDBACK". The Band started around February 2005. Mike and Jay would practice almost everyday. Sam would come down from the Seattle area and practiced for the shows....Now they are still playing and practicing. So go and see them play they'll love your support!!!:)
